DESCRIPTION:The Exchange Club of Angleton will be conducting a Flag Day Ceremony at the Veteran's Park Gazebo on Tuesday June 14th at 12:00 pm/noon.  The theme is "Why We Honor The Flag".  After the arrival of the Brazoria County Cavalry and everyone receives a flag\, the Colors will be presented by the Brazoria County Combined Honor Guard.  The ceremony will include a few words from Mayor Randy Rhyne and 149th District Court Judge Terri Tipton Holder.  Boy Scout Troop 516 from Sweeny will also be in attendance.\n\n\n\nAfter the ceremony at the Angleton Cemetery\, the Charles Dixon American Legion Post 241\, the Combined Honor Guard\, and the Angleton Cemetery Association will conduct an American Flag Disposal Ceremony\, in accordance with United States Flag Code.
