Brazoria County Business Hall of Fame
The event will honor 4 laureates from throughout Brazoria County who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The 2012 inductees are: Bill DeWitt of Alvin, Corky Melass of Lake Jackson, Dr. Tom Pruett of Lake Jackson & Gene Pell of West Columbia. Scholarships are also given to one student for each of the Brazoria County High Schools. Kim Foley of TDECU will be honored as the Volunteer of the Year and Sarah ERmel of BISD will be honored as the Teacher of the Year. Presidential Volunteer Service Awards will also be given out to area companies and individuals.
