BEFORE YOU vacation, travel for work, go away to college, or just because, get yourself PREPARED! Self-Defense training for women provides critical skills that develop a woman's confidence when intimidated, improves physical self-defense skills in order to better protect themselves, and aids in the recovery from a traumatic experience. Training scenarios will prepare participants physically and, most importantly, mentally for personal safety. Training focuses on teaching awareness of surroundings, quick, decisive action and simple but effective strikes to neutralize an attack. Class is designed specifically for women, but daughters age 8 & up may register with a guardian! MUST PRE-REGISTER IN PERSON AT THE ANGLETON REC. CENTER Instructor Information: Terese Pandalph Barton teaches American Tae Kwon Do and has been training in martial arts for 12 years. She was a State Champion for eight years and Rookie of the Year in 2005, Golden Greek Award winner 2007-2008 (best overall female black belt). Terese?s objective is to provide and teach high quality self-defense.
