American Indian & 4-H Day at Manna Fields Farm
We are honored to have Ray Olachia, a Mescalero Apache, here at Manna Fields Farm. Ray will be bringing a wide array of Indian artifacts, which he is happy to show off and explain the uses to our guest. He has worked with the Scouting program in various capacities since 1983. Retired from Dow Chemical, Ray tours the country giving lectures, presentations, and conducting ceremonies. The 4-H ambassadors will be here too, promoting the great programs 4-H has to offer. They will be doing craft activities with the children and bringing some of their prize winning animals from the Brazoria County Fair. For more information about 4-H, you can contact Courtney Latour- County Ag Extension Agent at 979-864-1558
