Maarouf, M.S.,R.D.,L.D., CDE Certified Diabetic Educator Topic of Discussion ~Cheating Destiny - Escaping the Complications of Diabetes Lynn Maarouf has an extensive background in the field of nutrition and diabetes, A former instructor at the University of Houston, she has also been involved with internship programs for young dietitians at the University of Texas. In addition to her full time work at the Stark Diabetes Center in (Galveston) she is a volunteer for The American Association of Diabetes Educators, and The American Dietetic Association. Mrs. Maarouf sees clients in the Specialty Clinic, located in Suite 103 of the Professional Office Building.
